Prostate Cancer - PSA Levels
The PSA test or prostate specific antigen test test tells your doctor the level of prostate specific antigen -- an enzyme made by the prostate -- in your blood.
What exactly does it mean when a person has a high PSA level?
In a healthy male, the PSA should be less than 4 nanograms per milliliter of blood. Anything higher than 4 can indicate prostate cancer.
